Types of Cases Richard Kopsick represents plaintiffs exclusively in all types of cases in which people are injured through the fault of another. He has never worked on behalf of an insurance company, hospital, doctor, or other defendant. Mr. Kopsick has resolved personal injury claims by conducting jury trials as well as by obtaining settlements in favor of his clients, both before a lawsuit is filed and after filing suit.

Mr. Kopsick is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national organization that restricts its membership to attorneys who have successfully resolved personal injury cases with damages in excess of One Million Dollars in present cash value. In personal injury cases, Mr. Kopsick works on a contingent fee basis in which there is no charge for legal services made for consulting with a client or for representing a client, unless and until a successful resolution of the client’s case has been reached.

Criminal, Traffic and Juvenile Court Cases

Mr. Kopsick also represents clients who are charged with felony, misdemeanor, DUI and traffic charges, and related matters, as well as representing minors in Juvenile Court cases and handling DCFS hearings and appeals for parents charged with abuse or neglect of a child.

Mr. Kopsick has extensive jury trial experience in all types of criminal cases, including the defense of clients charged with first-degree murder, aggravated criminal sexual assault and abuse, reckless homicide, financial crimes, drug charges, and many other types of cases. His extensive experience in both civil cases and criminal cases and his personal concern for and dedication to his clients have resulted in literally hundreds of successful trials and hearings.
